Data based on Age of Householder
The Census Bureau produces various reports that include statistics by age. The data are for a range of years, including 1947 to 1998. Data based on Age of Owners
The American Housing Survey (AHS) collects data on the Nation’s housing, including apartments, single-family homes, mobile homes, vacant housing units, household characteristics, income, housing and neighborhood quality, housing costs, equipment and fuels, size of housing unit, and recent movers. National data are collected every other year. The national sample covers on average 55,000 homes. The survey is conducted by the Census Bureau for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Data based on Age of Householder, Number of Children Under 18 Years Old, Persons 65 Old and Over, Adults and Single Children Under 18 Years Old, and Own Never Married Children Under 18 Years Old Age Search Service
The Census Bureau will provide confidential records from the U.S. decennial population censuses of 1910 to 1990, for a fee, and issue an official transcript of the results to satisfy situations where a birth or other certificate may be needed but is not available. The Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) is a monthly survey of about 20,000 households conducted by the Census Bureau. The survey has been conducted since October 1983. There is a site dedicated to presenting SIPP data:
