CHEYENNE - Since 2008, thousands of hunters of all ages have taken advantage of Wyoming’s Hunter Mentor Program, which allows hunters who have not yet completed a hunter education course to participate in hunting activities in Wyoming.

CHEYENNE - Young hunters have numerous opportunities to pursue pheasants in Wyoming in coming weeks with days set aside for special hunts that are only available for youth hunters.

YODER - The severe drought and resulting haying and grazing of Conservation Reserve Program acres has forced the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to significantly modify its southeast Wyoming pheasant releases for 2012. Releases in north-central Wyoming will be basically the same as previous years.
