Social Security's Representative Payment Program provides financial management for the Social Security and SSI payments of our beneficiaries who are incapable of managing their Social Security or SSI payments.
Generally, we look for family or friends to serve in this capacity.
When friends and family are not able to serve as payee, Social Security looks for qualified organizations to be a representative payee.

Internet Representative Payee Accounting
Learn about Social Security's online payee accounting form. If you are a representative payee, you can report how you spent funds on behalf of your beneficiary to us online rather than completing and mailing back the paper payee forms. Reporting online gives you immediate confirmation that we received your information and allows you to print and store a copy for your records.
