If you have passed the entrance exam and been issued a Tentative Selection Letter for an entry-level position in one of these occupations:

  • Agricultural Specialist
  • Border Patrol Agent
  • CBP Officer

You can check the status of your application in the Central Application Self-Service (CASS) system.

CASS will provide a status on the following requirements:

  • pre-employment forms
  • medical exam
  • fitness test
  • drug screening
  • video-based test
  • structured interview
  • background investigation
  • qualifications
  • scheduled report date

CASS will also give you access to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and, for Border Patrol Agent applicants, a current events newsletter. ( Central Applicant Self-Service (CASS) Program )
