Hello Mr. Kennedy, I have been retained by a US Manufacturer of Beef, Pork, and Poultry. Our goal is to expand distribution into Canada. We currently import pork from Canada, mainly to be used as raw material in our production process for finished product sold solely in the USA. All of our other raw materials comes from domestic sources. I have identified several potential market areas in the Provinces of Quebec and Ontario, but have been met with challenges when it comes to facilitating trade across our Northern Border. Most obstacles revolve around tariffs and quotas designed to protect Canadian business entities.
