When there's a chill in the air there's nothing like a hot bowl of soup to warm you through and through. It can be a simmered-for-hours masterpiece or a quick and easy combination of whatever you happen to have on hand. Think of dabs of cooked vegetables and chicken simmered in broth with small pasta or rice, and voila! You've got soup in a snap!
