SPL Standard Training

A series of Structured Product Labeling (SPL) training opportunities are being offered to individuals responsible for the preparation and submission of information to be provided in SPL format to FDA.

Background

FDA has adopted the use of extensible markup language (XML) files in a standard SPL format as the standard format for the exchange of product and facility information. The focus of the SPL training audio and web conferences will be the preparation of the SPL documents. 

SPL Training Technical Q&A Sessions* (audio only):

Dates:  Mondays (except federal government holidays)

*Pre-registration not required for the SPL Tech Q&A sessions.

Note:  Requests for registration for the 2012 SPL training sessions should NOT be submitted PRIOR to Monday, January 16, 2012.

There is no registration fee for the training sessions but pre-registration is required because of limited connections for the webinars. To register, please submit the following information via e-mail to spl@fda.hhs.gov:

1. Attendee’s first and last name
2. Name of your organization
3. Session name and date of training session(s) for which you are registering.

You will be limited to one phone/web conference line per company.
