NHC is issuing advisories on newly-formed Tropical Depression Fifteen-E over the eastern North Pacific Ocean. It's centered at midday about 845 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California. Maximum sustained winds are 35 mph. Little change in strength is expected today, but it could become a tropical storm on Sunday. The next name on the eastern North Pacific list is "Olivia".
The depression is forecast to move toward the west to northwest during the next 48 hours. It is not a threat to land.
