Genetic Prevalence Estimates of the U.S. Population

Prevalence estimates of 90 polymorphisms in 50 candidate genes for a nationally-representative sample of the U.S. population collected through the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (1991-1994).

  • View summary tables stratified by age, sex, and race/ethnicity.
  • Search the Genotype Prevalence Catalog in the HuGE Navigator by reference SNP (rs) number, gene symbol, name or alias, or the common/historical name of polymorphisms.

Multiple-State Genomics Data

Multiple State Genetics Programs have collected population-based genomic data using state surveillance systems from 2001 to 2010.

NHANES

Summaries of selected genetics, genomics, and family history-related studies using NHANES data, 2001-2009.

HuGE Navigator

An up-to-date knowledge base in human genome epidemiology, with information on population prevalence of genetic variants, gene-disease associations, gene-gene and gene-environment interactions, and evaluation of genetic tests.
