AFC Concerts, Lectures, and Symposia
with Webcasts, Photographs, and Essays

Materials available online will vary, but may include webcasts, scholarly essays, biographical information, and photographs. Since 2006, most public events have been recorded for webcast. Earlier than this there was some digital videotaping of events. If an event was recorded for webcast, the webcast may not become available until six months or more after the event. Recordings may be available in the Folklife Reading Room for an event that was audio- or video-recorded, but not produced as a webcast. For currently scheduled events, go to the What's Happening at the American Folklife Center page.
