  2. On this date in 1962 Sioux Falls received 13.8" of snow. 18" fell the previous day for a two day total of 31.8".

  3. Snow showers moving through Brookings into Southwest Minnesota. Brief near whiteout conditions possible over the next few hours.

  4. Visibilities are definitely down along Interstate 29 north of Brookings. Use caution if heading northward today!

  5. Wind gust 47 mph in Sioux City and 46 mph in Yankton so far. Be careful driving, especially in light or high profile vehicles!
