This one-day workshop teaches local and state planners about climate change, as well as the planning processes and actions that can help their communities prepare for climate change impacts. Course materials, including presentations, handouts, and lessons learned, are available for a few regions through partner websites. These materials must be customized for other states or communities. The Center may be able to provide assistance creating similar workshops for other regions in the following ways:

This training is provided by request and will be fulfilled as resources are available. Classes can be taught at the NOAA Coastal Services Center training facility or brought to your organization. The Center reserves the right to cancel the course in the event of low enrollment. The cost is minimal for participants and host organizations.
