GEN Alexander Emphasizes Cyber Challenges and Partnerships at GEOINT 2012
GEN Keith B. Alexander - Commander, U.S. Cyber Command/Director, NSA/Chief, CSS - told participants at the annual GEOINT Conference that there are several ways to shore up U.S. cyber defenses. Strengthening government-industry partnerships in cybersecurity, improving the training of professionals who defend vital U.S. networks, and taking advantage of cloud computing are among the necessary steps, he said in an Oct. 11 speech.
