2nd Quarter 2012
U.S. production of uranium in the second quarter 2012 was 1,061,289 pounds U3O8, down 2 percent from the previous quarter and down 11 percent from the second quarter 2011. During the second quarter 2012, U.S. uranium was produced at six U.S. uranium facilities.

Tables 3 and 4 include County and State location of existing and planned mills and in-situ-leach (ISL) plants.
For the first half of 2012, U.S. uranium concentrate production totaled 2,139,693 pounds. This amount is 5 percent lower than the 2,252,130 pounds produced during the first half of 2011.
