If you're an Energy Savers blog reader, hopefully you're also taking the opportunity to comment on the posts you read. Not only do the Energy Savers bloggers love to hear your feedback and answer your questions, commenting on the posts gives you a great opportunity to interact online with other folks who are really interested in energy efficiency and renewable energy. Heck, your comments might even make you famous if they end up in the Comment Spotlight as part of the blog's regular This Month on Energy Savers posts.

What you might not know is that participating in the Energy Savers blog isn't the only way you can find help with your energy efficiency or renewable energy questions on the EERE website. Just a few weeks ago, the EERE Information Center launched a new Live Chat feature that, during chat hours, gives you quick, online access to knowledgeable folks at the Information Center who can help find answers to your energy-related questions.

So, do you need help determining whether your new water heater qualifies for a federal tax credit or finding a number for your local weatherization agency? Are you looking for some tips to help cut back on your energy use and cut down on your winter utility bills? Thinking about buying your significant other a new dishwasher for Christmas but confused about how to tell whether it's an efficient one? Through Live Chat, EERE Information Center staff can point you to informative resources with answers to these questions and a whole lot more.

You can access Live Chat through the EERE Information Center home page (hours for Live Chat availability are posted in the Live Chat window). And don't forget that even if Live Chat isn't your style, you can always reach the Information Center by phone at 877-EERE-INFO (877-337-3463) or email at eereic@ee.doe.gov.

I look forward to chatting with you soon!
