Designed to coincide with Michigan's new campaign against underage drinking, "Do Your Part" features five new public service announcements, highlighting five individuals who share how they are doing their part to prevent underage drinking. This video was produced through the SAMHSA/CSAP Underage Drinking Prevention Education Initiatives (UADPEI) in an ongoing collaboration with States and Territories to produce videos that support local underage drinking prevention communications efforts. Across the Nation, every State and Territory is unique and so are their approaches to preventing and reducing underage drinking. The video project supports the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Strategic Initiative #1: Prevention of Substance Abuse and Mental Illness, which states, "... prevention of underage drinking [is] a priority for States, Territories, Tribal entities, universities and communities."
If the drinking age was lowered to 18, teenagers wouldn't experience such an "omg let's drink I'm such a badass!" effect. Look at Europe. This video is completely misguided.

Video will be used to coincide with area town hall meetings, but the voices are echoed, not sure if it is a problem with our system or a problem with the video.
