Outreach

GPO's outreach for the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) is designed to provide Federal depository libraries with a variety of tools and resources that can be used to promote the free use of Federal Government information products by the American public. This outreach to our Federal depository library partners includes events, online learning, partnerships, and promotional resources.

GPO’s outreach also encompasses interaction, communication, and consultation with Federal depository libraries about depository management activities. This includes daily depository consultation, feature articles about depository libraries, and the Public Access Assessment program, whereby GPO evaluates each library’s compliance with the FDLP legal and Program requirements.
