OGC Recruiting

OGC’s main recruiting tool for entry-level positions is our summer associate program for second-year law students.  For our 2013 summer program, OGC will select 2L candidates through interviews conducted at:

  • Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law,
  • Duke University School of Law,
  • Georgetown University Law Center,
  • George Washington University Law School,
  • Howard University Law School,
  • University of Maryland School of Law,
  • Penn State University Dickinson School of Law,
  • University of Virginia School of Law,
  • William and Mary Law School, and
  • The IMPACT Disability job fair.

Second-year law students who do not attend one of the law schools listed above may submit applications via email to legalcareers@gao.gov. Applications will be accepted from July 30, 2012 until September 1, 2012. All online applications must include a resume, official or unofficial transcript, and writing sample. We will contact any applicant selected for an interview by September 5, 2012. Unfortunately because of the large number of applicants we receive through our Legal Careers mailbox, we will be unable to personally reply to each.
