2010 NIAID Year in Review

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) conducts and supports research to better understand, diagnose, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases. These ongoing activities bring us closer to solving the health challenges facing our nation and the world.

This first edition of the Web-based NIAID Year in Review summarizes our programmatic and scientific accomplishments during fiscal year (FY) 2010 and describes how our budget is distributed by research programs and funding mechanisms.
