Prevention research Synthesis image The HIV/AIDS Prevention Research Synthesis (PRS) Project identifies evidence-based HIV behavioral interventions (EBIs) to help HIV prevention planners and providers in the United States select interventions most appropriate for HIV prevention within their communities. These are listed in the Compendium of Evidence-based HIV Behavioral Interventions.

The Risk Reduction Chapter of the Compendium highlights EBIs focusing on HIV-related risk reduction (RR).

The Medication Adherence Chapter of the Compendium highlights EBIs focusing on promoting HIV medication adherence (MA) among persons living with HIV.

The EBIs cataloged on this site represent the strongest HIV behavioral interventions in the literature to date that have been rigorously evaluated and have demonstrated efficacy.
