This webinar will provide an overview of key issues to consider when students return to school after a concussion, including signs and symptoms, the affect of concussion on a student's ability to learn, and the role of school professionals in supporting students. During the webinar, you will learn about CDC's Heads Up to Schools: Know Your Concussion ABCs initiative (http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp...) and model concussion programs that engage students, families, health care professionals and schools in the return-to- school process. This webinar will emphasize practical tips and strategies for school professionals based on real experiences of students. This webinar will help you:

• Know how to prevent and respond to concussions in school.
• Explore school-wide approaches to addressing concussion.
• Learn ways to support individual students returning to school after a concussion.
