Instructions for Inserting Your Own Logo

NOTE: Logo files should be vector EPS files, or JPEG or TIFF files that are a minimum of 300 dpi.

Instructions for inserting a program logo into a customizable PDF USING ONLY Adobe Acrobat Standard or Adobe Acrobat Professional:

  1. NOTE: The materials cannot be customized using the basic Adobe Acrobat Reader.  You must use Adobe Acrobat Standard or Adobe Acrobat Professional versions.
    Open the customizable PDF in one of Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional. In the middle of the toolbar you will see a percentage in the zoom percentage box, click on the arrow tab and select “Fit Page” so you will be able to view the entire document at once.
  2. To view the editable logo fields, click on the “Forms” tab in the tool bar menu at the top of the page. Select “Add or Edit Fields…”. You will now be able to view the editable logo fields within the document. The fields should be labeled with the text “Partner Logo Here”.
  3. To insert your program logo, double click on the “Partner Logo Here” box in the document. A “Buttons Properties” box will appear. Click the “Options” tab. Then, click the “Choose Icon” button in the lower right corner.
  4. “Select Icons” box will appear. Click on the “Browse” button in the top right corner.
  5. An “Open” box will appear. Locate the Program Logo you would like to insert keeping in mind the file must be an EPS, JPEG, or TIFF file with a 300 dpi minimum. Make sure the “Files of Type:” button matches the type of file of the program logo you are inserting. For example, if your program logo is a JPEG then the “Files of Type:” box must say JPEG.
  6. Select your logo file and click the “Select” button. Your logo will appear in the customizable box on page one. Click “OK” then in the next window click “Close”. Repeat steps 3-6 if you want to add your logo to page two.
  7. Close “Form Editing”
  8. Your program logo will now be embedded into the document.
  9. Remember to save your PDF.
