Ninety-nine 7-inch tapes and 245 audiocassettes, 13 linear inches of contact sheets, eight and three-fourths linear feet of field notes and logs, 3080 slides, 210 photographs, and 2 videos from the Chicago Ethnic Arts Project Collection, a field survey of ethnic artistic expression including dance, foodways, neighborhood gatherings, religious celebrations, and instrumental and vocal music. AFC 1986/037: 1986 Neptune Plaza Concert Series Collection
The 1986 Neptune Plaza Concert Series Collection consists of manuscript and print materials, audio recordings, and graphic materials that document the 1986 concert series sponsored by the American Folklife Center. The annual series, which began in 1977, features the presentation of folk traditions from many cultures. The concerts take place on the Neptune Plaza at the front of the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress between April and September. AFS 24,295-24,298: Four 10-inch tapes of Armenian, Greek, and Turkish instrumental and vocal music performed on clarinet, dumbek, kannon, and oud by Leo Sarkisian's Armenian Ensemble, followed by bluegrass instrumentals and vocals performed with banjo, bass, fiddle, guitar, and mandolin by the Johnson Mountain Boys. AFC 1987/042: Lowell Folklife Project Collection
Two hundred forty-seven 7-inch tapes and 90 audiocassettes from the Lowell Folklife Project, a field survey that examines ethnicity and occupational lore. Recorded in the Lowell, Massachusetts, area by various collectors under the direction of Doug DeNatale, August-October 1987; cosponsored by the American Folklife Center and the Lowell Historic Preservation Commission. Seventy-five cassettes of interviews with Greeks living in the United States, including biographical data, narratives on emigrating and working in the United States, and customs surrounding birth, death, holidays, and marriage. Recorded at various locations in the United States by members of the Daughters of Penelope Foundation, 1987-88. The collection includes 2 photographs, 29 photocopies of photographs, and 2 linear inches of questionnaires.

AFC 1991/022: Rhode Island Folklife Project Collection
One hundred and thirty-eight 7-inch reels, 59 audiocassettes, approximately 7500 color slides, 8300 black-and-white negatives, 11 linear inches of photo and sound logs, 6 linear inches of fieldnotes, 1 linear inch of interview report forms, 10 linear inches of survey response forms, as well as 1 1/2 linear feet of administrative materials, correspondence, publications, ephemera, final reports, and essays for the Rhode Island Folklife Project. This project documented and analyzed ethnic, regional, and occupational traditions of Rhode Island, especially ethnic traditions (African American, French Canadian, Greek, Irish, Polish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, and others), maritime activities, material culture, and local history. Collected by Peter Bartis, Michael E. Bell, Thomas Burns, Carl Fleischhauer, Kenneth Goldstein, Nancy Harley, Henry Horenstein, and Geraldine Johnson, July 15-December 31, 1979. Twenty-four 5-inch tapes, 60 7-inch tapes, and 231 cassettes from the Ethnic Heritage and Language Schools in America Project, a survey of 23 ethnic schools from 22 ethnic groups. Recorded at various locations in the United States by Elena Bradunas and 23 fieldworkers, April-July 1982, sponsored by the American Folklife Center. AFC 1998/011: Edward Keenan Collection on Old Believers
The collection consists mainly of materials related to religious music and belief among the Old Believers sect of the Russian Orthodox faith. Among the items in the collection are a spiral notebook which delineates a musical notation system which is used to interpret the music in the collection, several small booklets of hymns written in Cyrillic, some Russian language lessons, and a small booklet of catechism of the Greek Old Orthodox faith. Most of the material is either mimeographed or dittoed, and much of it is in Cyrillic script. The items were largely produced in the 1950s in Erie, Pennsylvania, by Rev. V. Smolakov. Additionally, there is a resource book for Russian Old Believers in Oregon produced in 1976.

AFC 2001/031: Ted Grame and Kathy Monahan Sound Recordings
A collection of 103 audio reels, made by Ted Grame and Kathy Monahan, documenting ethnic and religious recordings. Most of the recordings were made in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The collection includes liturgical recordings from Gaelic, Ukrainian, Greek, and Rumanian Byzantine masses. Additionally, there are recordings of Tamburitza music, highland games, Hasidic music, Hindu chants, and various folk festivals.

AFC 2011/043: Sophia Bilides Concert Collection, 2011-08-24
Digital sound recordings, video recordings, and photographs documenting a concert performed by Sophia Bilides with Mal Barsamian and Mike Gregian in the Coolidge Auditorium, Library of Congress on August 24, 2011 as part of the Homegrown concert series sponsored by the American Folklife Center.
