AFS 12,438: Homer Gayne / Guianese Music
One 7-inch tape of 13 traditional Guianese songs and other music by composers and lyric writers. Recorded in British Guyana, by a group of Guianese people, for Kenneth Bache of the United States Information Agency, April 1965. The collection includes 7 pages of correspondence, content lists, and lyrics by Homer Gayne. (35 minutes; LWO 4648)
