N.D. Department of Human Services Awarded Crisis Counseling Grant to Support Project Renew
If you live in Barnes, Benson, Burleigh, McHenry, Morton, Ramsey, Renville, Richland, and Ward counties and the Spirit Lake Nation, you may be eligible to receive crisis counseling through Project Renew. Project Renew is a joint effort of the North Dakota Department of Human Services and Lutheran Social Services Disaster Response to help flood survivors build resiliency.
Outreach workers from Project Renew can assist people in understanding your situation and reactions, mitigating stress, reviewing recovery options, developing coping strategies, providing emotional support, and encouraging linkages with other individuals and agencies who may help survivors in their recovery process.

Standard Public Assistance Programs (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/Food Stamps, Child Care Assistance, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, etc. for qualifying low-income people)
