Employment category corresponds to your offer letter
The new-hire process for the Laboratory’s three types of employment categories vary. Select the appropriate category and follow the necessary requirements for the new-hire period. Newly-hired contract workers should check directly with COMPA Industries, Inc.
Regular, Term hires
Regular employees are employees whose employment is of indefinite duration. Term employees are hired for a specific period of time.
Postdoc hires
The Postdoc Program provides opportunities to contribute to LANL research efforts, gain knowledge in areas of basic and applied research, and strengthen our nation’s scientific and technical capabilities.
Student hires
LANL offers internships for students from high school all the way through post-master’s research appointments.
