System Developer Requests

NGC has developed several tools for system developers interested in using the content contained on the Web site. These include:

  • RSS of selected NGC content, such as the weekly New This Week and Announcements pages and a complete inventory (including UMLS concepts) of guideline summary, expert commentary, and guideline synthesis titles.
  • A Create Search page with instructions on how to set up your own search interface with the NGC Web site.

NGC invites you to link from your Web site to the NGC Home page at http://www.guideline.gov/.

Text to Describe NGC

NGC is a comprehensive database of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and related documents. NGC is an initiative of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. NGC was originally created by AHRQ in partnership with the American Medical Association and the American Association of Health Plans (now America's Health Insurance Plans [AHIP]).
