The Robotic Hybrids from Miller Elementary School
The Robotic Hybrids from Miller Elementary School in Bismarck celebrate their victory at the Regional Robotic competition in Grand Forks as part of the International FIRST Lego League competition. A former exhibitor at Marketplace for Entrepreneurs, Dean Kamen founded the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competition to stimulate young people's interest in science and technology. The program complements Senator Conrad's work with Marketplace for Kids and his efforts to encourage entrepreneurial education for North Dakota's youth.
