Federal Income Tax Filing Deadline Extended

The IRS has announced that the deadline for filing your federal income taxes has been extended from April 15, 2012 until April 17, 2012. This move is a result of the celebration of Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia, which by law has the same effect as a federal holiday.
