Students and Kids

As a former classroom teacher and school board member, Senator Tester knows the value of quality education. These resources are intended to help students and kids find more information about how government works.

The United States Senate Youth Program, established by a Senate Resolution in 1962, is a unique educational opportunity for high school students. Each year, two students from each state are selected to participate. In 2008, Senator Tester spoke to delegates about the importance of education, representative government, and public service.
