Here you will find information regarding service as an intern in the Office of Senator Scott Brown.

Interning in the Senate affords civic-minded college students the opportunity to serve under a sitting Senator, and to observe the inner workings of a Senate office. From daily tasks to shadowing Senator Brown as he meets with other Members and constituents, an intern in the Senator’s office will be given the opportunity to observe and participate in all aspects of Senate business.

While preference is given to Massachusetts residents, students from all areas are encouraged to apply. Internships are available in both Washington, D.C. and Boston for the fall and spring semesters during the school year, and two internship sessions are available for the summer. Internships are unpaid.

A limited number of internships are available and the volume of applications received is quite high. As a result, the selection process is very competitive and interested applicants are encouraged to submit their completed Application Packets as early as possible.

Please indicate on your application which session you will be available to intern:

- Summer Session I & II: 2013 Dates TBD
- Fall Semester
- Spring Semester

*Additional opportunities may be available for students whose schedules do not match the set sessions.

Please indicate on your application which session you will be available to intern.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please FAX your required materials to 202-228-2646; Attention: Intern Coordinator.
