Butch Lazorchak

Butch Lazorchak is a digital archivist at the Library of Congress in the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program. He plays a key role in the Preserving State Government Information initiative, a series of multi-state partnerships focused on capturing, preserving, and providing access to a rich variety of state and local government digital information including legislative data and geospatial information. His research interests include digital geography, digital music preservation and musical communities, K-12 and LIS student outreach and emerging technologies. He holds an MLS from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
