Sen. Toomey Tests Weapons System Made in Johnstown
Sen. Pat Toomey participated in a Capitol Hill demonstration of Kongsberg's Protector CROWS remote weapons system, manufactured at Kongsberg's Johnstown factory. That factory manufactured its 10,000 CROWS system March 26.
The CROWS (Common Remotely Operated Weapons Station) systems are installed on top of military vehicles and provide 360-degree weapons aim while fully protecting the troops inside.
Kongsberg officials also presented the senator with a plaque in appreciation of the March 28 visit.
