- The U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee (JEC) will hold a hearing entitled, “The Employment Situation: January 2012,” on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:30 am.  BLS Acting Commissioner John Galvin will testify to recent developments in the labor market and answer questions on national employment trends.
