September 1, 2011 - During a visit at the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing in Kingsport, Sen. Corker, flanked by Parker Smith of Eastman Chemical (at left) and Kingsport Mayor Dennis Phillips (at right), receives a briefing from the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Council. The center is Northeast State Community College’s “primary off-location facility for training a qualified workforce for the region’s manufacturing sector.”
