Mr. Tom Udall, from the State of New Mexico, called the Senate to order at 9:30 a.m., the Reverend Elizabeth Evans Hagan, Senior Pastor, Washington Plaza Baptist Church, Reston, Virginia, offered a prayer, and Mr. Udall led the Senate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
