Baby Doods played in Art Hodes' band, which opened at the Ole South Club on August 15, 1946
      (“In Short,” Billboard, August 10, 1946: 38).
This Club became Zanzibar in early 1947, and later on Chicken Roost and Royal Roost. The tree-deccoration survived all these changes.
