COLUMBUS, OH – In advance of Hurricane Sandy, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) is alerting Ohioans to storm monitoring services and emergency planning resources. The storm could bring heavy winds, rain, and snow to Ohio.
“My thoughts are with all residents and communities preparing for Hurricane Sandy. I encourage Ohioans to monitor the path of the storm and take all necessary precautions,” Brown said.
Ohioans can monitor the forecast in their area by listening to their local NOAA weather radio station (full list below) or by visiting www.weather.gov for conditions in their area.
