I am in the Navy myself, couldn't imagine being the amazing and unbelievable sailor that he is! Their love is truly unbreakable and they are blessed to have each other, they are both my heros!

of course he's from iowa.  iowans: the few, the proud and the extremely attractive.  but seriously, people like taylor make me proud not only to be an iowan, but to be a human.

I got tears in my eyes. Anyone who's cynical about love should take a look at their story. Love doesn't always work out, but when you really love someone, you love them through anything.

it goes to show you its not always how you look are what you look like, some times its whats in you heart.

Now that the dust has settled, I finally got to sit down and look through all the comments, I am so glad that others instantly seen what I seen in those pictures. Special thanks to Ben, Taylor, Danielle and Tim for being so cool since I was going to send them an email on that Monday with a link but it took off before I could. Thanks guys.

i will admit it…i cried it is awesome to find a couple that will stick together through thick and thin…for better or worse…and welcome solider…both of them are my HERO!!!!

I loved this! Thank you for sharing your love story. I lost my husband of 28 years to cancer in Sept 2011. I cared for his ailing body for a long time. It was a gift to me to be able to have him with me no matter what physical condition. I didn't know until he needed me to care for him how much of a miracle he was in my life. I carried, bathed and fed him. I would have for eternity if God would have allowed me too. God bless you both and know the love you share is uncommon for mo st people these days. A story of spectacular courage and true love. What an inspiration for us ordinary folks. There is magic in their eyes. Such amazing people!

I wonder… what would happen if every soldier in the armed forces of BOTH SIDES stood still in place and told the rich men giving the orders to pick up a gun and go fight the other rich men giving the orders on the “other side”? I wonder if we would still have wars? Something tells me the answer would be “No.” I wonder why the rich send the poor to gather their raw materials for them… so valiant! Thank God for the rich. Be sure to vote in the 2012 US Election for the Red guy or the Blue guy. Each of them is interested in serving the 300+ million US citizens rather than doing what the corporations that funded their 2 BILLION DOLLAR CAMPAIGN tell them to do! Long live the Oligarchy.

Thank you both for your love and devotion to each other, which has surpassed the war and the injuries. I honor the service which left you wounded, but clearly only in body and not in spirit. Never in my own 25 years of Navy service had I seen such an unforgettable “story” in 22 pictures. Bless you both.
