Budget Control Act - setting the budget for Congress

Last year, U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill helped pass the federal budget currently in place as part of the Budget Control Act. That legislation set the budget for two years, cutting the federal budget deficit by more than $2 trillion over that time.

Senate Calendar of Floor Proceedings

The Senate will convene at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.  Following the prayer and the pledge, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed S. 3525, the Sportsmen Act, post-cloture.

At 5:30 p.m., all post-cloture time will be yielded back and the Senate will conduct a roll call vote on the motion to proceed to S. 3525.

There will be a series of pro forma sessions between September 25 and November 9.
