Sources of use to the curious can be found in numerous places. Many historians of women would not think to examine science periodical indexes such as the General Science Index (1978-; Z7401.G46 SciRR, MRR Alc; online, 1984-) and Biological and Agricultural Index (with title change, 1916-; Z5073.A46 SciRR, MRR Alc, online, 1983-), yet these reference works lead to articles on sexism, patriarchy, diets of pregnant Korean Americans, and women's clubs in the environmental movement. Published congressional committee hearings debate oral contraceptives, child care, and immigrants, and trade journals sometimes include obituaries of women.
