We are pleased to present the Webcasts from an all-day “Train-the-Trainer” session that was offered at Northeastern University’s Snell Library on Jan. 15, 2010, in conjunction with the American Library Association Midwinter Meeting.  Under the auspices of the Library of Congress, National Agricultural Library, and National Library of Medicine, the Train-the-Trainer session was presented to key staff of the 26 institutions that will be formal participants in the US National Libraries RDA Test.

The instructors were Barbara Tillett, Ph. D., chief of the Library of Congress Policy and Standards Division and the Library of Congress representative to the Joint Steering Committee for Development of RDA, and Judith Kuhagen, senior policy specialist in the Library of Congress Policy and Standards Division.

The Webcasts are now offered for use, free of charge. You may notice some minor errors in the synchronization of slides and video, but we hope that the modules will be useful to any individual or institution that wants to learn more about RDA. The nine Webcasts cover the following topics:

The US National Libraries RDA Test Coordinating Committee is grateful to Northeastern University Libraries for providing classroom space for the Train-the-Trainer session and for editing the video files from which the Webcasts were produced.
