A tender moment in the spectrum of time,....a father and his boy. RIP, Father Abraham (1809-2009). I'm mightily proud to have been born on your birthday (Feb 12, 1943...exactly 100 yrs after the birth of Robert Todd Lincoln (1843-1926).

It's wonderful to have any photo of A.L with a family member. I was watching a History Channel show the other day which said (and I suppose I realized it after hearing it) that there are no known photos of Abe and Mary Todd together. Kind of sad.
This photo was invited and added to the The Victorian Father group.
