The Fairfax is the venue and hotel for the Designing Storage Architectures Meeting, September 20-21, 2012. 

To receive the negotiated rate of $226.00 plus applicable tax (14.5%), you must reserve your room directly with the hotel by Tuesday, September 4th. 

Book your reservation by calling 888.627.8439 referencing the Library of Congress group block or online via the following link: Reserve a Room.  If you plan to extend your stay, the group rate will be honored before and after the meeting dates based on room availability.  If you are unable to extend the dates via the webpage, please send your request to Mary Eno meno@loc.gov.  Reservations made after August 29th are subject to room availability at the going rate.  In the event you are a no show or check out prior to your reserved check out date without prior notification, a fee equivalent of one night’s stay will be charged to your account.  To avoid this fee, you must notify the hotel of the change the day before by 6pm EST.

About the Fairfax Embassy Row

A member of Starwood’s Luxury Collection, the Fairfax is located on Massachusetts Avenue just off Dupont Circle in the Embassy Row area of Washington, DC.  The property is steeped in the history and politics of Washington – Al Gore grew up there, Nancy Reagan and the Kennedys were regulars to the restaurant, and Hillary Clinton declared her candidacy for President in the lounge.
