Sources of Braille Reading Materials
2007
This reference circular lists sources of books and magazines in contracted and uncontracted braille, jumbo braille, print/braille, and braille in an electronic form. These materials may be borrowed, purchased, rented, or obtained free on request. Most of the sources are in the United States, but selected sources in the United Kingdom are also included.
This circular was compiled from literature submitted by agencies and organizations in response to queries made by the Reference Section. Many of the responses indicated that materials are available on audiocassette and in large print and braille. This circular, however, is limited to braille sources, which include membership publications if they are available to individuals, libraries, or other groups that are not members of the organization. Prices are subject to change and should be verified with each source before ordering.
