Cassette Books 1998 describes cassette books for adults produced by NLS during the past year. The catalog lists books by subject categories and includes forms for ordering selections. Later this year, Cassette Books will also be produced on flexible disc. The catalog is being sent directly to patrons who ordered it on their annual publication order forms. It can also be ordered from your cooperating library. A cassette version of the catalog will be available on loan at a later date. Student Financial Assistance An audio publication giving information on academic financial assistance for disabled students for the 1999-2000 school year is now available from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary Education. The recording is in the form of a conversation between a disabled student and a counselor from the department's Federal Student Aid Information Center. In their dialog, the student and specialist discuss federal financial aid programs and also talk about state and private sources of funds for eligible students.
