Thomas Jefferson Building Tour

A one-hour walking tour of the historic Thomas Jefferson Building, highlighting its symbolic art and architecture and the work and history of the Library. Offered daily to pre-reserved groups Monday through Friday.

For Pre-Reserved Groups Only

Exploring the Early Americas Tour

This tour examines indigenous cultures, the drama of the encounters between Native Americans and Europeans, and the changes caused by the meeting of the two worlds.

LOC Box Program for Students

This program is the Library of Congress’ new field trip offering for student groups in grades four through six. Students and their teachers/chaperones work in teams to explore the Library’s historic Thomas Jefferson Building.

Music & the Performing Arts at the Library of Congress Tour

This tour takes a look at the Library’s Music Division—its history, the personalities who shaped its development, and the treasures in its collections.
