This was July 5, 1915, as part of a 4th of July parade and day of women's suffrage activities. Dressed as the Goddess of Liberty and standing at the foot of the Statue of Liberty, she read the "Appeal for Liberty", written by Carrie Chapman Catt and Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Details at:
