      Here's biographical information about Charles Templeton Crocker (1884-1948), grandson of railroad magnate and member of the "The Big Four", Charles Crocker:

      This mansion was designed by Willis Polk and was a gift to his wife, sugar heiress Helene Irwin.
      Today it is used as a school.
