    I like how a hundred years ago they were able to tag their photos with so much information.

    Well, these were "news" photos, so the photos were taken by photo journalists who understood the importance of documentation.

    According to Box Rec, which has very good records of this sort of thing, they were both lightweights, and the fight, held in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on Aug. 21, 1906, was between Dave Deshler (17-7-5) and Matty (the Bunker Hill Bearcat) Baldwin (56-11-31), which was a draw in a scheduled 15-round fight that went the distance. Their boxing records are their records at the time, not their career records.

    Just thought you might want to know.
